Maintain Requirements:
The purpose of Maintain Requirements is to retain requirement accuracy and consistency throughout and beyond the change during the entire requirements life cycle. This aims to support the reuse of requirements in other solution as this is a vital part of the maintenance and sustainability. Not only can it be sustained, but you want something dependable and repeatable. Ways one can reuse would be within the current initiative, within similar initiatives, within similar departments, and throughout the entire organization.
Ways to maximize the benefits of maintaining and reusing requirements tend to focus on something that is consistently represented, reviewed and approved for maintenance using standardized processes that defines proper access rights and ensures quality, and finally easily accessible and highly understandable.
